We purchased this induction range/oven for our massive kitchen/main floor remodel. We have owned it less than 2 months and have had the service company at our home nearly 10 times. The main issue is that the induction range does not work properly. I do know that induction ranges “cycle” but this cycles to a point that we are unable to cook food. Water completely stops boiling during the cycle. It does this on all pans and we have brought our pans to the showroom that we bought it from and every single one of our pans worked properly in the showroom. Also, our pans all work properly on this exact JennAir range in the show room. Other people who own this range and love it have not had this issue. Despite numerous service calls and calls to JennAir Customer Service, they have refused to do anything about it. We are now considering getting rid of the brand new unit all together and getting an induction range from a more reputable company. It is absolutely ridiculous that JennAir thinks this is how an induction range should work. We hate this oven/range so much that we are liking to take a loss on it and get something that actually works.

I purchased this range specifically for the induction cook top, which I love! There is greater control over the amount of heat while cooking. It is almost instantaneous. I like the 3 shelves in the main oven as that increases the oven's capacity. The shelf which slides in and out on a track makes for easier handling of heavier casseroles, etc. The small drawer not only warms, but also cooks. It is perfect for baking on hot summer days when I don't want to heat up my kitchen. Overall I love my JennAir induction range. The only drawback is the glass top controls which get greasy from fingerprints. Although clean up is easy with glass cleaner and a paper towel.

I grew up using a gas stove. My current condo only has electric. I am not overly fond of cooking on an electric stove. My new Induction Stove gives me the best of both worlds. I love it!

Looks really good. I wanted gas but the salesman talked us into how great Induction cooks. Was pretty impressed in the showroom, not so much at home. The oven takes for ever to pre-heat also.

We had to get a new range immediately and we wanted double ovens, Stainless and electric. We did not want a Kitchenaid because of poor quality. Only range in stock was Jenn-Air induction. We only had a few pieces of induction suitable cookware. The range came with a promotional set of cookware but wouldn’t arrive in time for our houseful of company. We made do. Pros-easy to learn how to use it. The top oven is very large which we love. Great visibility through large glass door. One of the racks extends out so you can easily check food without removing it out of oven. Easy to clean cooktop. The electronic pad can be locked for cleaning, to prevent accidentally turning off or on. Seems like a solid product. Con- Lower oven is very shallow. Cookies ok but no cupcakes. Easy to scratch the SS top panel where some of the electronic controls are located. After 2 days we already have scratches. The clock cannot be seen unless standing close to the range because it is flat on top with the other electronic controls. Haven’t cleaned the oven yet because as of this writing, we have only owned this range a week and haven’t had to clean it yet. So far we are pleased with our purchase.
