i have tv's that i've had for much longer that still work perfectly fine. unfortunately the most expensive tv i've ever purchased has broke within two and a half years into ownership. of course the warranty is up by now. $3,200.00 new lol! all of my samsung products are failing prematurely. my cooktop, fridge (don't get me started on the fridge), and now my tv. it's started to develop lines that flash periodically throughout movies/tv. just sucks to have of my largest purchases ever break so soon.

I have had this TV for a while and the picture and settings of the picture is wonderful! There is a flaw that those who want surround sound or sound bars need to know about. The ARC HDMI system does not work for long periods and you will have to hard reset the TV to get the ARC to connect to the device again. Heads up on that. Its a basic feature that seems solid on other TVs/devices.

We bought this 3 years ago and left it in the box while we built a home theater in our basement. We opened the undamaged box to find a broken screen that was clearly put in the box this way from Samsung. We purchased a 5 year warranty from Joe's AV - that is out of business now and we have clearly lost all our money. I would never buy a large TV from Samsung.

I am so done with this tv! Started to notice shadows of different color shades especially in low light scenes. Contacted Samsung who referred me to an authorized repair. Tech told me it’s a known problem and about $1700 to fix! Almost 2 years old but noticed issue about the one year mark.
