really disappointed with the tv, i've had good luck with previous samsung models, but this one is awful. i will not be buying another samsung tv, i think i will switch to lg instead. as you can see by the photos, the tv is a goner and would need some serious repair. really unhappy with the tv.
Do not buy this TV

let me start with, i liked this tv while it worked. with that said, i originally purchased this tv from sam's club in late august, 2018. in march of 2019, it developed a dark shadow across a large portion of the screen. samsung replaced it, now i have the same problem and they're not replacing it. looks like i'm out of $800 for a tv that's barely over a year old. i've had nothing buy samsung tv's for over 15 years. this was the 1st model that's garbage.

We got 25 months out of this model Samsung. Worked fine without any issues, turned off, turned back on a couple of hours later and only sound, no picture. Found out that the backlight is likely at fault. For a TV that has seen limited use we are disappointed to have a critical failure so soon.
Dead in 18 months!!!

Purchased 18 months ago. After a year the screen began to darken in the upper left corner. Mind you this TV is used about 3-4 hours a day on the average. One morning turned it on and nothing but black screen, sound but no picture! Performed "flashlight" test to find there is a picture but power supply is dead. Thankfully my 15 year old Mitsubishi 57" DLP still works fine and is supplying my TV needs for now! "NEW" power supplies are expensive and hard to come by! Seems this is a VERY common problem with Samsung TVs and PS is out of stock most everywhere! I paid $1000 for this TV and "EXPECT" more than 18 months of service for that amount of money!!! Writing this I am angry and disgusted at Samsung for making such "JUNK"!!!
