Looks like I'm not the only one with this problem. Our unit is 3.5 years old. Started warming up (not cooling) and the high temp alarm comes on. Replaced the thermostat that tells fridge when to defrost as the part was easy and cheep to replace. That did not work. Called one of the highest received repair guys in my area. After describing the issue and giving him our model number, his advise was the "throw it away"! He wouldn't even take my money to come look at it, he has seen enough of the Electrolux failures of this model to know (I guess). I'm writing this review as I wait for-ev-er to talk to a consumer service rep.

We upgraded to this fridge in our new home and it is amazing. Nothing gets lost, tons of space and drawers and nothing has spoiled in the month we have owned it! Door has plenty of room for beverages, snacks, etc.

About two years ago, we purchased a matching fridge and freezer and the refrigerator (model EI32AR80QSC) gave out on us about four months ago. We spent $600 replacing the compressor and then it broken down again three weeks later. I just got a call now about 6 weeks after the last break down and it's not working again. $600 plus three refrigerators full of groceries gone...I wish I had seen the consumer reports warnings that place Electrolux appliances, and especially their refrigerators as the worst in terms of reliability. I don't want to throw good money after bad money, so I'm going to be looking at Thermador and Bosch - they are the best ranked for reliability for refrigerators on Consumer Reports.

We moved into a home which had this refrigerator installed in 2018. The compressor failed in 2019 and was replaced. A year later it has failed again and no replacement parts are available. How can a refrigerator bought in 2018 not have a replacement compressor available? There are quite a few reviews like these and looks like this is not uncommon. The refrigerator looks great and is

I chose this refrigerator according to the furniture in the kitchen, but after about 5 years of use, the temperature does not drop. I refilled the gas twice, but it no longer works.Because of the size, I have to change to the same refrigerator or fix it.Is there any way to repair it?
