I am still peased with this Series 500 Bosch clothing washer. I has more than enough options to wash all of our clothes effectively without damaging any of them. It is a septic friendly device.
Conflicted

I'm still on the fence on this. I like it adjusts the time depending on how much soap you use, but I've had to use 1/2 loads worth of soap instead of 1 as it foamed too much and 1hr15 minutes got adjusted to 1hr45 minutes with it adjusting multiple times so I didn't get a good sense of when it would be done and how to plan for it. It also shakes a lot where even heavier items fell off within seconds so I'm going to have to get some padding under it to prevent it from shaking like crazy. That said, it cleans very well and it comes with a lot of presets, which is good if unlike me, you don't know how to control settings for optimal use.
Very finicky

Works well when it does, and we love the "extra hot" option for whites. However: it is super sensitive to the weight of the load, or to bunching, and if it doesn't like the way the load is distributed, it just won't spin. Since there is no "spin only" cycle, our only option is to remove some of the items, sopping wet, and run the "rinse and spin" cycle, which is 22 minutes long. Sometimes we have to repeat this process a few times. A very frustrating and wasteful experience. I would never purchase this item again.

We've had this washer for 3 years now. The controls are easy to understand and use. We've had zero problems with this machine, which gets used for 4 to 5 loads per week. It is very quiet in operation, even when running at the highest spin speeds. Laundry comes out clean every time and when using the recommended detergents and amounts, rarely needs to run an extra rinse. Even though it is a compact machine, it can handle any load with ease. This machine is built to last.
Very, very pleased with the performance.

I was very limited by space so I was very happy to find this compact washer. It does an excelent job of getting my laundry super clean while still being gentle. There is enough options to customize the wash cycle to wash everything from bulky blankets to the most delicate of fabrics. I use laudry sheets instead of liquid detergent because of the plastic waste liquids create. My old washer never disolved the sheets fully, this unit has no problems disolving them. I also love how little water it uses, I've noticed a significate drop in water bill. I highly recomend this little wonder.
